How does the HubSpot call tracking integration work?

For Enterprise level users of HubSpot, an event is sent for every inbound phone call received. The event is linked to a contact which we match by cookie user ID and then by telephone number. If no match exists, we create a new contact.

Mediahawk passes a note into HubSpot with every call, linked to the contact, and includes the following data:

  • Date and time of call
  • Call duration
  • Caller’s number and unique ID
  • Service Number – the phone number used on your marketing campaigns
  • Destination number – the number that your service numbers are routed to
  • Call outcome – whether the call was answered, went unanswered or was engaged
  • Call recording link
  • Source / Medium
  • Keyword
  • Landing page title and path
  • Last page title and path

The data is available to view in the Events Report (Enterprise level only) and the Contact Record.
