Vacancy: Business Development Manager

We’re currently looking for a Business Development Manager to build new relationships and win sales opportunities.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Build a revenue pipeline by nurturing inbound leads and by prospecting.
  • Generate new opportunities using a wide range of activities including networking, online comms, webinars, and personal research.
  • Present the Mediahawk proposition to prospects, often in virtual meetings, but also in face-to-face meetings (when conditions permit).
  • Manage a pipeline of active opportunities and take them to closure.
  • Up-selling and cross-selling solutions which are useful to existing customers.
  • Collaborate with other teams to oversee account growth on a company-wide basis.
  • Support at external expos and present webinars.
  • Create and deliver great pitches and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate reporting processes.
  • Share client needs/demands that would feed into the product development process.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in a selling role, preferably selling solutions or services.
  • Ideally have worked within the Media, Cloud Software, Digital Marketing or Marketing Analytics markets.
  • Capable of building and managing a sales pipeline by nurturing relationships and prospecting.
  • Understand selling process and able to spot sticking points and move clients along the pipeline.
  • A natural relationship builder.
  • Confident with online technology and software.
